Indoor Mini Golf: Stay at Home Date Night

I'm so excited to share this great stay at home date night with you all today! We love miniature golfing, but it can be so hard to get out of the house with a little one. So we decided that we needed to play a round of miniature golf from the comfort of our living room!

Date Night Idea, Indoor Mini Golf, Stay at home date

I made these super fun printables to make the date extra special. I wanted to send Brad an invitation to the date and put these little love notes in his briefcase and tucked away in his lunch bag so that he could be thinking about the date and getting excited.

I found a fun little golf set at Dollar Tree that we loved! It would also work just fine to use a broom and a toy golf ball (or whatever small ball you have) if you don't have a golf set on hand.

Next, I prepped all of the little flags. I just taped them onto skewers and then taped the skewers to some plastic cups. The skewer actually helped balance the cup so that it didn't roll over when the ball went inside.

And of course we needed a score card! I included 6 lines on the card so that we can either play again or play with our family.

Then there was the set up of the course itself! We used some things around the house to make different obstacles: tunnels from our little one's train set, chairs, an empty paper towel roll (that one was tricky), books that you had to navigate around, and even the stairs! Get creative with your set up.

You can download my scorecard for free HERE, (Image is at the bottom of the page).

Or you can purchase the entire pack (including flags, love notes, an invite, and some bonus cards and ideas) HERE for only $1.50! The bonus pack includes some really fun printables to use when creating obstacles on your course, including a tunnel, a jump, and a bulls-eye.

You can also purchase an expanded FAMILY PACK for only $2.95 HERE. This pack is so cute and includes all of the obstacles, a score card, invitations, and tons of cute cards to leave for your family members!

In all, it was a super fun date and a nice way to change things up when it comes to stay-at-home date ideas. If you're in my Facebook Group, we will be leading a Facebook Live mini golf group date this Friday at 7:30 PST, so make sure to join us there!
